Dating/ hook-up sites?
"Dating" is kind of a grey area, because usually it is meant for single men and women - and I have used it loosely. Anyways let's call it hook up sites.
Craigslist is dead - and Double list is full of fakes, flakes and non-serious people. So really I am giving up on Double list. I now want to explore another site that might have Real people (not bots), serious men and women to meet, and have sex with.
Questions:
- What is / What are some of the best sites to meet men, M/M and M/F couples?
- Which of these sites accept a pre-paid credit card (Cannot have it go on my regular card - for obvious reasons (I am a closeted).
- What are the PROS & CONS of these site?
- Is there anything else to be aware of?
- Are there some precautions to be taken when registering or using these sites?
- This may/may not matter - I live in Dallas metro area in TX.
I am seeking advice/info as some of you may have used these dating/hook-up sites as this one is not a site to hook up.

I was using Doublelist. It was almost identical to craigslist, but as of today they started charging. So I'm gonna be following this thread, looking for a new site myself

Looked today and Doublelist is free again. Btw, i had pretty good luck with it when i was working in Dallas last year

I have to have a site where I can get someone to answer my ad, state specifically what I am looking for and be assured of total discretion. I need someone who is willing to message a little to get the ground rules agreed upon and then meet to talk before play.
I can't risk going to a gay bar or to hit on guys randomly.
Going out to meet people is fine. But.....

I’m totally in the closet too
DL and silver daddies have been the best for me. But between they guys looking for beat off material and those who can’t put mot than three words together, it takes a bit of work. Certainly more than meeting guys in person. But on the dl, that’s not an option.
I hate to say this but there is no such thing as totally assured discretion. But if you keep your security tight, it likely to be reasonably safe.

I've had good luck with sniffies and squirt. org. I've been a member of squirt for about 8 years and I've been able to meet guys wherever I travel. Just recently found sniffies and had several hits on it.

You don't have to pay either one to join but I think they would take prepaid debit cards. I do pay for membership with squirt but not sniffies.

Craigslist was my favorite. When I was in the mood for dick, I'd post an ad and wait for replies to sort through. A4A is my choice now but is a distant second to the Craigslist experience.

Craigslist and later Doublelist are my go-to as well. The problem is I have to shift through 19 duds to find one viable partner.

If you getting 1 out of 20, you are doing real good, I been through way over 100 so far and not found 1 yet! lot of BSers and ghost outs.
