Ok perhaps this is a good question to asks the ladies as well. I met someone revelry and we want to try rimming. I've don't it before, but only with women, and as you might suspect, their wasn't much foliage to deal with. Now I personally don't have a problem with sifting through the weeds but my partner said he'd only do it if I was smooth.
Now I trim my body hair and pubic hair and it can tend to be itchy from time to time. I'm concerned that if I shave my asshole that it will be incredibly uncomfortable for days it even weeks afterward. Are there any pointers anyone can give me for this? Because I really don't want to get a professional wax job and I'm not sure I could wax it myself. Thanks everyone!!

my wife has a machine called an epilady. It actually pulls the hair out. Somewhat uncomfortable at first but easy to get used to. I do my ass, and asshole once every two weeks. Not ichy when it starts to grow. Shaving is very unconfortable on the asshole and around the area where the legs end. I do shave my balls and pubic hair. As long as you do it everyday in the shower it stays nice and soft. My wife and male friends love the look and feel.

Mobile Doctors unit on TV doing a show called "embarrassing ailments" with variants for teenagers, women, men.
One man on there with very hairy bottom which went wrong and he ended up with a festering problem. I think most of the problem was sebaceous cyst in composition. It was not explained fully how he came to be suffering this as the program(me) was about the cure. Depilaiton was part of the cure and he was recommended to go for laser hair removal as being the most efficacious
and relatively long lasting. The recommendation worked

I think this falls under the adjoining thread about shaving/trimming....

I don't manscape the backyard but I do keep a well edged frontyard. I have no itching problems when it starts to grow back in. I take the razor to it in the shower as needed. No problems.
My wife is clean shaven...front entrance and backdoor. She shaves every day. Also in the shower. She says she hardly ever has a problem with irritation, bumps, itching or any other annoyances down there. She has a past post in the threads about exfoliating to reduce any chance of problems.
Check it out...maybe it'll help.

Try shaving every time you shower. Keeping it smooth all the time is best.
