I figured I would pen a few words about sports and sex.

Because this is where it all began for me. On dusty fields and muddy bogs, my view of men began to change from people to have sex with to sexual beings. I began to not just desire a cock and a tongue and some nebulous idea of romance, but to tease his nipples with my tongue, tickle a back of the knee with my hair or let my fingers explore his nether regions beyond the obvious.

Now, at 16, I didn't have the words or could visualize the mechanics, but I knew the urges well. And it just seemed to inflame whenever I came up to the field, ready to bandage strained ankles, help stretch out calves, set up cones, keep boards clean, and ...serve water. Now that just seems so regressive and anti-feminist and whatever- -keep your PC words. As far as I'm concerned, they were performing for me. They were engaged in a masculine show, a homoerotic drama for my benefit.

I know, I know. . .here is Taylor, wingeing off about football again. Why not? It's the right time of the year, isn't it?

But the homophobia!?

I know. I understand. But just look at the sport for what it is. This is a sport that commences play with a quite intimate act. . .almost foreplay:

And it ends sometimes with a run, but on occasion, you get a collapse and release of masculine energy, a pile up that in other contexts would simply would mark the end of the orgy.

LBGT people have been historically uncomfortable with team sports (it's a generalization, but bear with me), and this one in particular, but I guess I am trying to bring the almost sexual passion I feel for football.

I'll do rugby at some point. :p

Taylor,

Wow the way you describe how football helped awaken you sexually, makes me look at football in a whole new light. It's the old story of the ying and the yang, the masculine and feminine play off each other beautifully. I look forward to your post on rugby
