There is a new recording studio opening up in the area. One of the owners got wind that I am a singer and contacted me this morning asking if I would help them out by coming in and doing some recordings and such in order to test out the acoustics before they officially open. He said maybe from there we can "work something out" which means so many things, but I take it to mean that if I sound good in the studio, or if they just like me, it won't be the last time I'm there. Hey, for all I know he could just be using me right now and NOTHING will come out of this but...hey...at least I get to have fun in a real recording studio, which is more than I've gotten to do before. Excitedness...YAY!

Cody, I have myspace karaoke stuff recorded. Nothing major..crappy mic, usually recovering from being sick or holding a baby, just messing around with stuff. Certainly nothing I'm proud enough of to send out for an audition or anything like that! That's pretty much the best that I'd have to offer haha.

Hey, calm down now, I don't expect to be famous from this haha. If anything, it would make my day to be able to get a good deal on an hour long session or something like that so I have something professionaly made to send to an agent. That would be pretty cool.

Ya know, truthfully I don't know if I'm cut out to be famous anymore...between doing what I've been doing for my book, speaking to people about auditions for movies, and working towards something with my singing (not to mention the 3 kiddies) I'm exhausted already...

But still, I don't think I'll ever fully be satisfied with life until I'm famous lol.

I heard your songs and then heard them again with a few friends and all agree that you are vocally talented... I love rubbing elbows with famous peeps... :bigrin: Well now I know why you are "doing a happy dance". And I would be too if I had your voice! I listened to your "tunes" and I liked them, and I honestly think you have a really nice voice too. So if these people don't know how or who to set you up with, then I think you should look into the TV tallent shows! I honestly think that you would need a little "coaching", but you wouldin't need very much to please even mean ole Simon Scowel or bitchy ole Paula Abdull!!! Now that is my honest opinion a commin strait from the dogs mouth. :tong:
