How long till I should worry?

I know it seems silly, but my friend hasn't been online in 2 days, when he usually logs on at least once a day. He recently moved to a town where he knows no one, and he's in the very beginning stages of transitioning (FTM). I've checked all the sites we're both members of and they all say he last logged in 2 days ago. Am I just being paranoid or should I be worried? Thanks for any opinions. :)

It could very well be that your friend doesn't have access to the internet....so before you get too worried, consider that possibility. But you're a lovely friend to worry and be concerned.

I second what Kate said, hopefully your friend is just tied up in the business of moving. I know that it takes some time to get set up in a new place.

He's been in his new place for a couple months, internet was set up the day after they moved in. :)

I would but I've got no number to reach him. I'm not sure if they even have a land line, it's him and his mom and they're paying rent and net on only her income since there seem to be no jobs that he can find. Thank you, though. :)

do you know anyone else you could contact to see if they have heard from them? Could you try the local police department to check up on them?

The only person I know how to get ahold of is his aunt, and she lives in a different state. The only information I'd be able to give police is a description and the name he goes by now. All I know is the city he's living in. :-/

Well Sweetie, looks like you are just going to have to be patiant and wait until he contacts You. Most librarys have computers, he could contact you that way.
