I've been told that webcamming can be used by skilled porn site operators to offer tapes of your activities, without your permission on their sites or that others can use the material as a set up for extortion (especially if someone is still closeted).

I'm not sure what others think but I've been told this is possible. If folks want to cam I'm sure that's their decision to make for themselves but I hope folks stay informed about some of the (even if perhaps small) risks involved so that they are making informed decisions about what activities they choose to engage in.

"I" have only cybered once and that was by accident.

I was at my desk in the office and a gent logged in from NZ on the chat line running on a spare computer (I was the IT manager at the time). LOL Bibed. Personally, I love cyber when it's good, when it's bad....well nothing more exciting that watching paint dry. Cyber rates up there with phone sex for me and now that we use headsets, my partner and I get the best of both. Personally I'm not a fan of cybering or phone sex. It just a big game of tease in my opinion. Classifying it as foreplay? Sadly no. Foreplay gets the game started and is great but eventually leads to (hopefully) good sex. Even dirty talk over dinner and drinks can be good foreplay but cyber and phone just leaves you rubbing one out yourself.
