Living in Mpls, Prince has been a major influence in my life including my sexuality. His lyrics has opened my mind to who I really am and to the difference of bisexuality compared to gay or straight.. I wanted to find out if anyone else has found Prince to be an influence..

Prince has been an influence in my life. sometimes sexually but also musically. i am a very musical person.
i loved prince since when was it late 70's?. course no one else where i lived heard of him and i was told ima dirty girl and prince is satan. but i didn't think so. i think his voice, the lyrics, and the way everything blends even though you wouldnt expect some of the styles to blend would work was and still is interesting to me. Prince is very talented.
as for sexuality. sometimes . but that is me.

I like some of his older music but he didn't do anything for my sexuality at all.

I always saw Prince as being more than just a little off. Not Michael Jackson weird, but not anywhere near head on straight, either.

From what I see from a lot of your posts, Prince probably would have done you SOME good for sensuality instead of being from all appearances an overbearing, self righteous, "My way is better than anyone else's" closeted homosexual. :(( Let's face it people, Diamond Dog is NOT bi, and for someone 'post labels' CERTAINLY has NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER flinging names and labels himself!) So what if Prince decided to get a religion, it doesnt change the kick ass stuff he's done in the past, like Purple Rain, New Power Generation, and so on.

I like his older music that isn't his early 90s recycled stuff I just don't like his religion or his politics. I stopped caring about him after he sued that mother for making a youtube home video of her kid dancing to 30 seconds of his song. What a douche.

Prince supports a religion that's homophobic, and they don't even allow blood transfusions when the person will die without one. Natural selection at work.

Are we all forgetting the fact that Prince is absolutely batcakes and nothing that ever comes out of his mouth should be taken seriously?

I have nothing against Christians or LGBT Xtians, I just don't like the fundamentalist Christians who try to make everyone "ex"-gay, Roman Catholics, Mormons, and Jehova's Witnesses that are homophobic.

Jehovah Witnesses will excommunicate your ass if you're gay/bi/lesbian, period. That said, Prince sure as hell has partaken of gay camp behaviour/fashion, and has enjoyed mucho gay support. Keep ya hate to yourself or get ready to feel the burn.
