My wife is allergic to cats, so no cats are allowed in the house (however we're woo-ing this stray that likes to sleep in the garage on cold nights)

Someone sent me such an innocent link about a cat that loves to ride aroudn the house on the owners Roomba. At first I was just "Meh" but then it grew on me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ-jv8g1YVI

Whats funny is its totally in sync with a Run DMC Song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dueoHsyfJvs

Now, I noticed in the related videos someone named Okuro1999, and I remember theres this guy over there in Asia that has crazy funny cat videos.

And this guy put a cat bed on his roomba. Talk about spoiling the cat!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIjE8BVV-VI&NR=1

Which brings me to the point of the point. The cat with a box addiction.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCq7EncEbDw

And...there's Jaw's cat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0auFTt4v9M&feature=related

And there you go. Cats. They may be annoying little farts but they are darn cute.

She gets watered up eyes, sneezes, congestion, but no hives. Which really sucks as this cat we are feeding is super cute, but with 4 dogs it may not work out in the house :(

And it's ok - For my 10 year anniversary with my wife, I gave her a Sympathy card instead of anniversary card. mucho laffs (to me at least)

Well, we have a dog. Not really cat people, but the cat vids were great. Got a copy of the ninja cat video (sans music).

But the vids were great. Cats and dogs are almost always good for a smile or a laugh.

Those are some funny and cute "kittie vids!"

One of my cats--Buddy is now obsessed with the ice maker-he hears me take a glass out of the cupboard and activate it--he comes running from all over the house to watch the ice fall into the glass and now--he has to have a few cubes to play with---I don't currently have a video cam---I can make a short vid with my Nikon--I will have to shoot him coming for his ice and post it up too.

This link is to a vid that is an animation--but it captures the "essense of cat."

I swear--my kittie that died last winter---the video reminded me of her--when it was time to eat---she was relentless in doing anything she could to get you up and to feed her----nibble on any exposed skin, hands, toes, nose, ears----when it was time to eat---you had no choice---she was going to be fed!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0ffwDYo00Q

I tried to find this one really cute vid this girl had of her kitty attacking her hand from under the covers--but couldn't find it--but enjoy the rest of the Simon's Cats vids--they are funny too!!

Thanks for the great thread!!

I LOVE CATS!!!!!!!!!! They make wonderful targets!!!!! :)
Relax, just kidding. I'm not much of a cat lover though. They are good to keep outside controlling the rodent population, not a big fan of one in the house.
Useless little yappy dogs that serve no purpose other than to be irritating we don't need either.
Now, a good sturdy black Lab that will sit beside you in a blind watching the sky and will swim in icy water to retrieve a duck or goose---That's my idea of a real dog!

We have between one and three kitties over here. One kitty is here all the time. She used to belong to my sweetie. She decided she likes my house better so she meowed and attacked him all night the last time he took her home. She used to treat my dachshund like prey, but now we have a 55 pound golden doodle who insisted on being buddies. Kitty finally gave up and actually likes the goofy dog, sleeping on top of her when it's cold, kissing her and being the recipient of the dog's version of kitty massages. The dog very carefully chews the cat from head to butt along the spine first, then the cat rolls over for the sides and belly to be done, looking like she's in heaven. It's too funny.

When he comes to visit, the boy kitties come too. They love it here. The bigger kitty loves the dog and they take turns chasing each other through the house. That kitty is always drenched in dog slobber. The little kitty of that pair won't let the dog mess with him, but he reaches out and plays with the dog's tail or ears when she's not looking. He's also been known to jump on the dog's back and "ride" her for short distances while the dog runs like a nut through the house.

A neighbor's dog, who is my dog's best rough house buddy, attacked one of the cats once. It was the only time I've seen our dog being viscious, but she defended her little sister kitty like nothing I've ever seen.

Kitty also makes sure she's the alpha around here, eating or guarding the dog's food and making her wait until she says it's ok for the dog to eat. And there stands the goofy dog obeying the cat who's one 10th her size!

I've seen cats win fights with dogs of all sizes. This one black cat we had named Jesus would attack any dog that entered our property. It was actually quite often that a dog would enter our property because the guy who ran the local pound, about 1/4 mile away, would pocket the money that was supposed to go to taking care of the dogs, and when necessary put them down. He would take care of them for a week release them but kept records of them being there and would take care of them for another week when someone brought them back.

Anyway, I once saw Jesus attack a Doberman, and she wasn't that big of a cat. She just ran at the dog, jumped at its face, clawed her way up onto his back, dug her claws in and bit down hard on his ear. He tried shaking her off for a while and then just started running so she jumped off. He was hurt bad enough we actually found a blood trail. But she didn't have a scratch on her. The only time she had trouble fighting off animals was with other cats, and this one mutt that refused to actually fight. She sunk her claws into his nose and, though he yelped a little bit, just kept acting friendly. It actually scared her into running away. I miss that cat, and I miss making our neighbors think we were crazy when we ran out into storms yelling, "Jesus! Jesus, where are you?"

I found the cute video of the "ninja kitty"-it was a MySpace video instead of being a YouTube--so if you don't have a MySpace account--I don't know if the link works for you, I hope it does--but here it is--it is very cute:

Since doggy links are in here. Here's one on Doggyspace.com;

which answers the immortal question of how many dogs it takes to change a lightbulb.

I just got a new cat yesterday. She is a Main Coon and she is two. (no pics yet...tear) She is adjusting really well but the she is not getting along with the kitten too well yet. They hiss at each other and keep an eye on each other whilte keeping their distance but occassionally the kitten will chase her because he is overly curious. I want them to be able to get along one day and I'm hoping that time will be what is needed for this. If anyone has any suggestions if they have been through this before, I would really like to hear others ideas on how to help her and the kitten adjust better.
