Here are a couple of quotes from MedicineNet.com "Myth: Since I only have oral sex, I'm not at risk for HIV/AIDS. Reality: You can get HIV by having oral sex with a man or a woman. That is why it is important to use a latex barrier during oral, vaginal, or anal sex." and ". . . oral sex can certainly transmit STDs, including herpes, HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and hepatitis, and genital warts."

Ya r quite rite regardin mos STD's funguy babes.. but the truth vis a vis HIV is a lil more complex. Oral sex aint the mos efficient way a transmittin it an is in fact relatively safe. Seems the virus has a hard time survivin in a healthy mouth or stomache. Ther r exceptions 2 this such as if ya hav mouth ulcers or bleedin gums or cold sores or sum such skin breaks, even on the genitals wer it is easier for the virus 2 pass inta the bloodstream.
Ifya r exclusive 2 ya partner, an ya kno (as best we can eva kno) she or he is healthy wealthy an wise, then no barrier is required, or in me own humble opinion, desirable. Take up ya advice in all cases..we wud die out.. tee hee:tong: An miss out ona lotta luffly fun.
But yea.. otha than wiv those lil caveats..ya advice is sound.

Joe it helps to get to know your partner. Once you are sure he is safe, just do it and enjoy.

This question has been bantered around before, and not so long ago at that. ChiFunGuy and darkeyes are correct. However, no one has covered the risk of Hepatitis C, and it is a major one. The risks of contracting Hep C and other STDs during oral sex are much, much greater than the risk of contracting HIV.
I am very oral. And because I absolutely hate condoms because they interfere too much with intimacy and sensation, I am careful to get to know my sex partner before I play. Yes, I am still at risk, but I am 61 and have been doing this since age 15 and have yet to contract an STD. I have walked away from several "opportunities" and pissed off a few people, but I am still selective and I believe that has helped keep me safe.

In a World that has AIDS, and diseases that are becoming more resistant to Antibiotics, I don't think that swallowing would be too safe....But its your life , you do what you want, I'm sure not going to stop you ....

Most of the risk in oral sex is before swallowing. Cuts, scrapes, bruises, irritations in your mouth or throat. Bleeding gums. Those are your entry points. You don't contract HIV by digesting it. The only additional risk in swallowing is in your throat, and if you don't swallow you're still at the same risk because you aren't going to be able to spit out every microscopic drop. Be careful. Don't have oral sex less than an hour after brushing your teeth or if your gums regularly bleed, or if you've recently bitten or scraped your tongue, cheeks, lips, etc., or even if you've coughed or cleared your throat forcefully.
Also, you aren't going to contract herpes by giving or receiving oral sex. Oral herpes is transmitted mouth to mouth, genital herpes genital to genital. But don't just take the opinion of people on the internet. Do your own research, and lots of it. I've found that most social sites are extremely misinformed about STDs.

Very good, cumgasm. I was going to correct csreef and others on here but you did it quite well. The risk starts with first contact, before any juices start flowing. Once the juices flow, there is nothing to be gained by spitting, other than getting rid of the load. You've already been exposed. The digestive enzymes and acids in the stomach will kill anything you swallow, including HIV. But if you have any open sores, bleeding gums, or have recently brushed your teeth, you have an open pathway for the STD.

Years ago I met a health care educator. She said not to perform oral sex on someone after you have just brushed your teeth, as your Gums have microscopic cuts & abrasions on them that could be the entry point for any number of STD's. She said to wait 2 hours after your have brushed to perform oral sex. . .:2cents:

Csreef you are right. I also gargle with an antiseptic mouthwash after oral. Don't know if it improves my odds any but it can't hurt.

Best thing is to find a regular trustable partner, Ya I know that is hard to find, I been looking for years and still not found. I dont mess with guys who advertise wanting "Right NOWs" or sex with just any random guy. Most guys on these sites and CL get more ass then a toilet seat and I wont even bother with them. I hoping to find someone who is looking for same as me, which is like trying to find a needle in a hay field, not the hay stack!

You're right Biinterested, if you want 100% safe sex then you better stay with Rosie Palm because condoms aren't infallible. The failure rate for condoms is 2%. The million dollar question is how much risk are you willing to accept? That is a personal decision; risk versus reward.

Swallowing is not safe and neither is letting bareback cock penetrate either side of you.
But it is fun lol. I didn't daregoback after I went bareback and I'm currently still neg/neg/neg so I'm pretty happy. And I'm also lucky that I had really good sex partners regardless if its NSA in adult theaters. I think I've said that I always swallow every load that goes in my mouth.....but yeah that's not true lol. Sometimes I spit on the floor, sometimes I spit half and swallow the rest, other times he takes his cock out of my mouth and finishes himself off and drops his load on the floor and lets me lick the last drop from his head because I keep my mouth open with tongue out like a true slut! Its nice tho. Men take care of me, and I take care of them by being hygienic neg and (for anal) I have my ass moist and loosened.
Men I met from Craigslist or other online m4m site are a different story. If he's really into me sucking his cock for a long time then yeah I'll swallow. If I'm taking cock in me he'll either creampie me or jerk his load right on my hole. Sometimes I'll take a few fingers and scoop a little bit of his cum from my ass and swallow it while looking at him. If I like how he's fucking me and want him to cum in me I'll tell him to do it.
Everyone forgets about pre-cum tho. Every cock that I put in my mouth always precums. All of them! So while I don't swallow a bunch of full loads, I have swallowed a lot of precum. Its almost infinite and its best used for lube for just in case he or I want anal. So even though its still not safe to swallow precum, its not like I'll swallow a whole bunch.
Moderation plus more moderation is key! Its not very cockwhorish of me to not have a cock in my mouth 24/7 but I like being neg. Condoms do come in handy, but, I need to taste cock! And I like to mix my spit with his precum so his cock is nice and slippery for just in case he fucks me. Lube thats on condoms aren't that good. Plus the first few times I used them for sex when i started CL encounters every guy would do the same thing of jerking his load right in between my buttcheeks after ripping his condom off.

I feel that sucking a cock with a rubber on would take away the experience of it. The feel of skin touching your lips and tongue sliding in and out. The rubber would take away that. The taste the texture. And to not swallow the cum or to get a taste of it and the feel of it as it shoots into your mouth would be the void if the pleasurable experience.
Knowing and getting to know who your partner is very well a key part. In this lifestyle that is not always the case. You have to be good at judge of character and quick to trust the person you will have inside your mouth or inside bum. There are many risks involved. Such is life.
That said, as my desire to want to try sucking my first cock keeps growing more and more I have been very tempted to answer ad's. There is no rush to it. When the time is right the time will cum.

I've always swallowed...probably well over 100 load in last few years...although one guy would give me the shits sometimes...never a problem otherwise. Had STD check last year and all negative....stomach acids is pretty strong stuff at killing what ever you swallow.

I have read up on the subject in regards to oral sex. Most medical sites put getting an STI from oral sex at 4%. Not a huge number, but the percentage increases the longer you keep sperm or residue in your mouth. Also, if you have brushed your teeth or had dental exams before performing oral sex, your odds of getting an STI are greater, due to micro-cuts. Either spit or swallow within a few seconds of ejaculation in order to prevent getting a disease. Then rinse your mouth out with antiseptic mouthwash. If you have any suspicions, get a test.
