awhile ago I saw on ebay a gay/lesbian ring which SUPPOSELY has been cast a spell on by people that are into wiccan.... this ring is suppose to bring you love.

Sooo since it was only 10.00 and I was bored, I bought it for fun. :)
Im still waiting for it to arrive in the mail.... we'll see if it works lol
If not, it is a pretty ring to wear anyway.

ALSO the same seller was selling a ring that has a spell to make your boobs bigger on it too. So I got that one too cause it was 10.00 and I liked the butterflys on it :)

l shall see if these rings work..... but i doubt it... I do not believe spells bring you love. They could I guess.... but i think its something that happens naturally at its own time.

The boob growth thing.... I somehow doubt this :)
Why cause boobs are made from body fat tissues.... and course you have pills, creams and stuff... all never worked.

Crazy me buying 20.00 worth rings on ebay cause of some spell but I like the rings themselfs :)

Has anyone else ever bid or bought something crazy just for fun?? :)

Yes. I've bought various books (especially biographies), various CDs, an I Ching set with sticks/coins, a Chinese talisman charm that's made out of wood that makes an excellent decoration, a machete, a leopard carved out of wood, a lava lamp, a statue of a Hawaiian god, a French press for tea/coffee, various foods/drinks, sex toys/BDSM equipment, Lacquer carvings of Buddha and the 3 wise monkeys, scented soaps/shampoos, and hats/items of clothing.

I didn't get all of this on eBay, some I just found and bought.

I don't believe in Wiccan/Pagan spells/magic either as it's all a bunch of woo woo and fakery.

Tasha, you ARE really sweet, sometimes! :)

Personally, I don't believe in Wiccan magick. BUT, after doing a little research on the subject, I've decided to keep an "open mind".

I suspect that whoever sold the rings on Ebay was just having a laugh, although possibly interested in Wicca themselves. People will say virtually ANYTHING to sell something on Ebay... trust me, I've heard some real crazy pitches in my time. But I guess its fair game as longs as they include the usual disclaimer that "no magickal effects are guaranteed".

But hey, $20... lets face it... if you like the rings anyway, its no big deal if your boobs don't grow 5 cup sizes overnight.

As for doing "crazy things"... just about EVERYTHING that I do or buy is a little crazy. Its part of my character... ;)

Let me know if the boob growth ring works!

IMO These things work more psychologically than anything else. This is not to pooh pooh their worth. You believe that the ring will bring you love and therefore are more self confident and willing to take chances you might otherwise not.

You believe that the boob growth will happen and suddenly you are 1/16" bigger, which may or may not be fat or breast tissue.

So...

I guess be glad you like the rings.

(not knocking you or the rings at all)

I've bought an excercise machine on e-bay and several books. I the excercise machine was the craziest thing I ever purchased. I had to go to the San Francisco Bay Area to get it LOL Then drive back to Merced, Ca. that was a whole day right there.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever bought anything really crazy, which is kind of disappointing now that I think about it. Tell you what, if someone finds me something sufficiently ridiculous to buy on e-bay for under 10 dollars, I'll totally get it.

I think the CRAZIEST, most STOOPID thing that I ever bought was a £1,500 ($3,000) diamond charm bracelet. It was by an Italian company, and was personalized with individual diamond-encrusted letters to spell out my nick-name. I'm told Brittney Spears and P-Diddy (whoever he is?) own one, but in retrospect... "what the HELL was I thinking?!". Man, I could've bought a ROLEX or something for that price. Plus I saved up my (rather modest) wages for several months to be able to afford it. So... just, like... Duh!

OMG! I cant believe that you spent all that money on crap like that... What a waste of money sorry dude.

Ohhh my useless piece was a lateral thigh trainer that i used a few times... My idea of getting fit lol.. but it only cost a fraction of the price they were selling it for on the internet home shopping channel.

Hehe, yeah, I'm not sure what I was thinking at the time. But I had less financial obligations in those days, meaning that I could pretty much spend my pay cheque on anything I wanted. hence the reason why I've made some pretty rash and extravagant purchases in the past. But those days are long gone... *sigh*

A thigh-trainer isn't useless. in fact its a very sensible purchase. the trouble is that unless one is very motivated, one never gets around to using it. But that's just a question of will-power... maybe you should've bought a book on developing self-motivation as well.

$3K!! Geez, you could have gotten something useful! -- Like a Martin D28E or a Gibson J-185...!

I never understood people's fascination with expensive jewelry. To me it just seems like such a waste -- it doesn't DO anything, you can't DO anything with it... But hey, I guess if it makes you happy, WTF. Me -- the Martin or Gibson would make me happy! (My problem is I'm usually too cheap to splurge on myself!)

Oh, well...

Ha! would I, had I any money to give! These days I have more debt than credit, and precious little money coming in. But one day I hope to rectify that.

Within reason, willpower is the key to achieving what you want to achieve in life. Zero willpower = zero achievement (trust me, I know! ;)). And no-one likes exercise to begin with... but it all pays off when you start seeing the results.

Actually I DID buy a Gibson too. It was an SG though, in Ebony. I had it upgraded to EMG active pups, put on a custom-made stainless steel scratchplate, and I was pretty darn happy with it. But sadly it was one of the first things to go (along with my other guitars) when the lean years set in. These days I've only got a crappy Squier Strat and my Flamenco guitar left.

I think that it's safe to say that many of us have bought something or another that was stupid. In my case, it was a used car. It lasted 1 month before I sent it back to the dealership for the final time under the lemon law. Never got any of my money back.

About the boobs growing thing........well, if they are selling you a charmed item that claims something like that, then chances are the claim about the ring with the love spell is probably bogus as well.

On another related note;
Watch out for anything that is supposed to bring you love, money, etc. Love spells must be very specific to work right. It violates the Wiccan reed, for example, to make someone in particular fall in love with you. A properly done spell, however, can bring into your life the person who is meant to fall in love with you.
There is a whole lot of other things that are misperceived and just plain wrong about Wicca, Paganism and the use of majic. But that is for another thread, I think.

Much more sensible! -- but, you should have kept the guitars, and sold the jewelry! (But hey, even a crappy Squire Strat can be fun...)

Tasha,

You bought a ring that would grow your boobs....did you happen to notice if they had some sort of jewlery to make saggy boobs look pert? I would be willing to even pay the whole $ 20.00 for something like that. Or perhaps I should look for a little man to hold them up...he would be treated to riches of unmentionable proportions.

lol Hi Belle, no but Ive read the sellers feedback where other people bought "boob spell" rings saying they worked.
One was woman who said the spell made her boobs look like they did before she had 2 children cause having kids made them saggy!! lol

I haven't got the rings yet... the seller said she mailed them soooo.... still waiting. :)

If your on Ebay, I can dig up the seller's ID so you can check out their auctions.... some are pretty interesting lol whenever the spell is true or not... its fun to read it anyway. :)
