So I will admit, I'm a shoe whore. Not purses, not belts, only shoes. I think I have about 100 pair. I stopped counting awhile ago. I got on chat last night having been so proud of the sexiest shoes I have ever purchased and it didn't even cost me a mint. Sweet! So upon request here are some not very good pics (web cam, what do you expect) of my new shoes. They are so much sexier than these pics convey.

I love shoes, and there are a number of people on here that have a love of all things feet and toe related, so why not share your faves? Please no foot on appendage photos puhleeze!!!!

Well dear lady, I think that you have a soulmate in me......Bree, my houseguest from this site and I went shopping on Thursday. I came home with eleven,,,,yes 11 pairs of shoes. I have have to get new ones since my back injury has left me with some balance issues....I can only wear flats or wedges...but then again last Saturday I fell off a pair of five inch wedges.....good thing I am a chubby chick...the chub acted as a cushion.

DD, you are hilarious! I don't go crazy. I pick a pair up here and there, and over the course of over a decade I have amassed my collection. I would probably shop more if I had the closet space, which I don't. I mourn the loss of good shoes. It's so sad, to me like losing a pet.


On that note, a good pair of shoes can liven your spirit, enhance your self confidence and quicken your step, so why not?

I have three pairs of vans, one tan, two black. One black pair is falling to peices- they're my backup kitchen shoes. The other black pair has shamrock laces and gets worn everyday. My favorites, though are my steel toed workboots. I'm kinda neurotic about socks. Particularly Argyle, plaid, toesox and just plain wacky patterns.

Fran, Converse pumps are about the ONLY trainers that don't make you look like you're Jimmy Saville or some 1980s hip-hop star. They've been around for DECADES and are still going strong. Admittedly they've become a little too popular for my liking (they're probably THE most worn sports footwear ever), but when I'm in a casual mood, you can't beat a pair of All Stars with some jeans. The tennis shoes are OK too, I used to have a pair long before they became fashionable. but they're too "now" atm... all the wannabe trendsters are wearing them, which slightly puts me off. But there aren't many trainers that "grown ups" can wear without looking immature or pretentious, IMO. Thats partly why I tend to wear shoes or boots most of the time.

See even weenie loves my converse hehehehehe. As far as my clodhoppers, they are much more comfy then they look. Super warm too, dont like cold toes in the winter.

I can attest to what Belle says!! She did buy 11 pair but to be honest several were for her daughter so her generosity with shoes extends to others as well. As far as myself??? I bought only two pair but that gives me now around 7 or 8 pair ( I know if it is only a small number, why can't I count them more accurately???). I can definitely see how much fun it is to buy and wear them but wearing heels is a problem for me since 6'4" plus 4" heels makes the top of my head and many door frames see too much of each other. LOL Otherwise, I LOVE shoes....

I love my Chucks! I have a turquoise pair and a dark purple pair ... I used to have turquoise ones way back when I was in high school, too, back in the um, late 80's LOL I always wanted a purple pair and finally found some about 2 years ago:bigrin:
