It sounds like you don't have much experience with inserting dildos in your anus. The usual issue is the diameter since people differ quite a bit in regards to how big of a size they feel comfortable with. Too big can be awfully painful. Too small won't give you enough of the "filled" sensation. In addition, with a realistic dildo, you will have a bigger sized head, which you also have to take into account. My suggestion would be to visit the vegetable aisle of your local grocery and buy a few vegetables (maybe carrots and squash) of different sizes. After an enjoyable session of experimentation, you will have a much better idea of what to buy.
