I have noticed that pretty much all over the internet----not as many people go to sites like this one or one of the only other sites I am a member of---Squirt.org---most of the sites that I had been a member of for years, have gone away or gone way down hill.

Even on Squirt---it doesn't seem that as many people come there and it is almost worthless to be a member of. Things used to be better in the earlier days of the internet like the chat rooms that Yahoo and AOL once had and are now long gone.

This was a Republican sponsored bill signed into law by Trump. Still, it had very broad support from both companies. Trump's Attorney General had already taken Backpage to court. Craigslist didn't want to be next so they shut the personal ads down. That might have saved the company. This is considered to be one of Trump's big achievement and was pushed by his daughter. Trump certainly takes his share of the blame.
