That's not a short story. The author who is bisexual never actually came out and said "I'm bisexual" and this shows self-loathing and internalised biphobia on his part. The fact that he cheated on his girlfriend is not a good thing.

He also was at Yale university and gave that up for an expensive university in flyover country that's highly overrated.

He's on facebook but is closeted about being bisexual.

Interesting that there is such literature. Reading such reading is not bad, but just not for students who can get very carried away with reading and not pay enough attention to learning.
