I don't think it did much to change Milnov's opinion on lesbians and non-heterokind. But what would?
If anything, it does show that non-heterokind won't always cower in the crowd to make it easier for his kind. Hopefully there's a chance to oust him from the gov with votes?

Public snogging may prompt votes in the wrong direction tho, so it's pretty hard to guess what outcome it will have.

I think that Russia's stance on same sex relationships has quite a bit of denial in it. Years ago when I was there I spoke with some Russian women and one in particular said that there were not gays in USSR. That was a western problem. See how far they have come. They are at least persecuting up front now and no longer deny that Russia has gays....not sure a statement has been made about bisexuals yet(kid'n)

Oh dear, 10-12 sec snog is murder!
