I have a similar problem, but after I shave in the shower and have dried off, I grab the razor again and go for the stray hairs. Again, I'm not that hairy to begin with, so I don't have "stubble", but the strays are taken care of when I take my balls in hand and roll the sack around so that I can see the strays against the light colored top of my sink counter top.
