View Full Version : I need some help/advice about cross dressing in public

I've been wearing women's jeans in public for over a year and started wearing yoga pants a few months ago. I am open to wearing short shorts when the weather permits. What I need help with though, is I want to start wearing skirts, I think miniskirts are SOOOO hot. I know I could wear a kilt, but that isn't the same as a skiing tight miniskirt. I am not comfortable enough to wear mini skirts out in public even though I REALLY want to. Can anyone who does give me some advice on how to get started? Any personal stories and the general reaction? around here, I have seen more than a few guys wearing kilts, and I have yet to be told off for wearing women's pants, I usually get compliments on them if that helps to get a general feeling of the community.

everything else I wear besides pants/shorts are made for men. I am not passable in the least bit.

I think that it might depend upon where you are wearing these skirts. If you are in a gay ghetto, it may work…maybe even a great attention getter..lol

I think that a mini skirt might just be pushing it unless you have worn something longer and a solid colour etc. I've seem some guys in photos who look ok with just above the knee but look maybe leather like.

I will guess that you already wear them around your own house?

What is your purpose in wearing these skirts in public?

Every now and then, I do. The reason I want to is because I feel VERY sexy in them and I feel very feminine and I love letting that side of me out but I don't have the confidence for skirts in public yet. Also, I have never been a fan of leather.

Ok. Definitely in a more gay environment for you. Maybe a cross dresser gay bar? Your purpose is contrary to the following images? I think that these guys mainly still pull off a masculine look while you want a feminine look?

Look at my pics :) What I wear are 12" mini "kilts" (wife won't let me something that is sold as a skirt, but I can wear kilts in any length!). Even in the conservative area I live in, I can splash in some femininity and get compliments from some men, and most women! My hairstylist/pedicurist love it! And I've always had legs and eyelashes that women wish they had! BTW, I'm not passable either (my wife, cand the men I'm with, find my facial stubble sexy, so facial hair stays, while all body hair is removed!

Admittedly, Where I don't feel the least bit self conscience in kilts that are 16-23" in length, the 12-14" mini kilt (from Sport Kilt) is very exciting, and I am getting braver on where I wear them! My wife is a great support!

What?
'Che schifo' means 'how disgusting' in Italian.

Miniskirts look sexy, but if you are seriously trying to pass or look fem, it is hard to wear them and not look like a drag queen.

Everyone has their own opinion. In my experience, response has been largely positive! I simply wear the mini kilt in place of shorts, slacks, jeans, or longer kilt :) . For full non-passable crossdressing though, I leave that behind closed doors, and pics for those that enjoy the fetish!

yeah, I know you do I've seen your pictures. I've actually kind of been waiting for your response :) hmm, i didn't know they made mini kilts, especially ones that didn't look tacky. Looks like I have more research to do.

Try learning another language instead of putting on women's clothing, acting like a total fool, and being a puttana.

In memory of Top_fucker, NW Cowboy, etc.

How sad is your life that you get banned by drew and you come back with another account less than a day later to say the exact same things?

By the way, I buy my mini kilts (they come in 12" and 14" length :) ) from Sport Kilt :) They're the only brand I have found that doesn't completely feminize them (velcro/buckles) are still on the right hand side, where most mini kilt brands they switch to the "female" left side). The cut is also a traditional straight cut, so it generally fits our hips better :)

Just bought 3 pairs of women's jeans! Wow! The comfort! Men's jeans never have fit my right. Why do they even define pants, jeans, and trousers by sex anyway?

You're welcome :) You'll enjoy them. Pair with leggings, stockings, or tights, and you can wear year round :)

I wonder if I could pull off wearing a kilt? I wear the leggings under my jeans because it's like cold where I live....

I think I could pull off wearing a skirt or kilt or even a dress perhaps? ;). It's weird that I'm a guy born with woman's legs and I don't walk I was told I glide with a swagger

Yeah, as a boy I was often mistakenly called a girl! I think my slender build, long legs, and long eyelashes contribute to that!

Frankly, I like how I look in mini skirts, more than shorts of the same length! Women always compliment me on my legs and eyelashes :)

Your 2 up on me I never get compliments on my eyelashes or legs, only guys comment on my legs but then I ride a bicycle every day to and from work.

They are in my profile :) On my smart phone, so I can't post a pic to this topic.
