That was a cute and heartwarming story---a nice break from some of the more negative stuff that floats around out there. The Make-A-Wish program surely has done some great things for many kids---it's kinda too bad that a similar sort of thing has not sprung up for adults as well----it would be nice that for many adults---who may never have had an opportunity to do something they have dreamt of doing all their lives that never came true---could happen when they are in their final days.

I guess it just doesn't play as well to have such a thing for adults though as it does for kids.

That would be something cool to do if you were to get so lucky as to be a sole winner of one of these periodic mega jackpot lottos that happen pretty regularly now. Along these lines--I saw several stories about a number of people who would be a "secret Santa" type, going into stores and handing out $100 bills to someone or waiters and waitresses being given some huge tip by some unknown benefactor.

It is good to see that there are still people out there who care for their fellow human beings and want to bring some bit of light into someone else's life.

Yeah, the thing I like about the Zeitgeist year in reviews are the way it shows all the stuff.. not just the highs, not just the lows but the whole year. We lost some good people this last year and so far this year we lost James Avery. Hope it's not a precursor of the rest of the year to come.
