I loved Dark Shadows as a child and I especially loved the character of Barnabas!

Jonathan Frid may have seen the new release of Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp. Jonathan probably died of embarrassment.

I liked his character and that of Angelique!

It is kind of something that as this new film is about to be released, he died. Don't think it means a damn thing other than pure coincidental timing of the two things---just that its "one of those things."

He died a week ago, but the report wasn't released until recently. Even his own website made no mention of it.

Jon was gay, by the way, but you will rarely see any mention of that since he refused to discuss his private life.

I watched one of the tv mpvies on TCM and they mentioned the new film and Jonathon make a cameo un it. I didn't know he died. Well that makes 4 including Dick Clark, Levon Helms, and one of Tricky Dicks folks from Watergate.

oops movies. It also seems they are making paradies to good old fashioned dramas and action tv series. With the exception of the A-Team, that movie is awesome and they actually did a good job with it.
