Personally, I hate the ugly Bi pride flag - a really bad colour combo that is a poor after thought to the gay pride flag (and the LG folks of the LGBT movement don't really like us anyway). So, please don't spread that manure around any more.
I like the image of an 8-Ball with the "8" replaced with a "B" instead. I'm trying to spread that idea around as an alternative to the crappy colours.
Just think, you have the black and white opposites coming together, the "B" would remain subtle as it would first appear as an "8" to the casual observer, the "8-Ball" is historically the wild card or the odd ball of the mix, and you can even use grey to colour the "B" as an added symbol.
Hope whatever you pick comes out nice.

i too have been thinking of a tattoo as well. you should "google" bisexual symbols, (that is what i did), and i got some good ideas.
i like the the idea of the two purple triangles together, myself.
i was actually thinking of going to get one today, to show my bisexuality.
good luck!

I have Stars on my hand too. Got it this pass November. Three shooting stars, Tails touching. In bi pride colors. rather artistic, but some frown upon such a large tattoo on my hand. But Its my life, my hand, my skin, my sexuality. So I just laugh at people who frown upon my hand ^ ^ My hand could do much more distasteful things *grins*

Hmmm, This brought an amusing idea to me. A Tattoo of a pirate and in text "Aye, Matey. Any port in a storm". When people say it aloud. They will get the jizzum of it. *giggles*

In the two tatts I currently have---with one--its got the Korean Ying-Yang symbol included within the middle of a Celtic Cross and the other---its a tatt that is a version of the combination of the sun and moon----with both of those images meaning to me--that I find a balance of both the feminine and masculine "energies" among other meanings I hold for them.
I guess you can basically chose any sort of symbiology that resonates with you then go with that.

i am looking for an image to tatto my self which means discretly i am bi ... some one knows?
I had the same thought. I looked around and found a Bi Pride Logo that I liked.
I'm still not sure about a permanent tattoo yet, so I had some temporary ones made to test size, location, and more importantly the reactions of others.
Here is what it looks like.

I have the Chinese calligraphy, three characters on my back that means bi. And a Greek key on my arm representing the classical Greek and Hellenistic periods.

I have a large celtic pattern tattooed at the base of my back. I also have another much smaller celtic design on my left shoulder. The larger depicts happiness the smaller love and unity.
My ex husband has my name tattoed on his forearm together with a celtic fertility symbol. The names I am generally known by are Katja or Kat. My proper name is Russian form of Katherine. He is now having to go through the expense of having this incumberance as he sees it removed.
Many people undergo this embarrassment of a broken relationship and an unwanted tattoo. Modern laser techniques make it much easier to remove such things than was once the case, but it is an inconvenience which I elected to avoid which is why I think that although the best of tattoo designs may enhance one, changes in our relationships can make such a tattoo emblazoned on our bodies extremely inconvenient indeed.
Just as I would not dream of having a lover or partner's name on my body, neither would I like to have a design which depicts any particular belief I may hold, or personality aspect I may have. This makes sense to me because we do change as we go through llife, and there are numerous instances of men and women's sexuality altering as they progress through life. To tattoo our sexuality on our bodies, however discreetly, seems a misjudgement to me, and unnecessary. I am not an exhibitionist particularly, but if the design is intended to say what one is, yet no one is to know what the depiction is meant to say, then this defeats the object of the exercise. If the idea is to tell the world what we are, then I merely remind people on site what tattoos and Stars of David (in another form) meant in Germany 60 years ago.
This is a personal thing with me, and people will think completely differently and that is fine. Tattoos can be both lovely in themselves, enhance the appearance of a person, and make the wearer look incredibly sexy, but the passage of time and changes in our lives and circumstances can make them extremely inconvenient, embarrassing and expensive to remove.

Tattoo definitely on my bucket list.
Some variation of a German Eagle.
I've no suggestions regarding the original question of bi tattoos.

Could go for a pink, blue and purple 8 point compass - purple circle in the middle, with each arm of the compass divided lengthwise, one edge pink the other blue (so it goes pink, blue, pink, blue etc. around the compass) - or even purple and black arms.
The star/compass is a traditional symbol identifying the wearer as being queer.
A peacock in the bi pride colours, with a bit of green and gold thrown in for good measure would be good (I'm toying with the idea of having this running from my left shoulder down my back).
One bit of advice though - be absolutely certain you are prepared to live with the tattoo for the rest of your life - if you have even the tiniest doubt about that, don't do it. I love my tattoos and would never be without them, but every one like me, there are dozens who regret getting a tattoo.

When i lived in cincinnati, i used to see an attractive guy running shirtless quite often in the summer. He had a tattoo on his lower back in the area of the tramp stamp as they call it. I always assumed he was bi or gay as i thought a straigt man woukd not get a lower back tattoo.

I have a tattoo I designed and placed on my left butt cheek. I have a picture of it in my profile. It is rather large and covers almost all of my ass cheek. I am very happy with the way it turned out and it is only visible to those I wish to share it with. I will attempt to attach it to this post.:male:

Hmm, you've got me wondering there. One of my work colleagues has a tribal tatt across the small of his back, he's cute, friendly, and I have that STUPID RULE that I do not jump people I work with.
