Ya know folks, I haven't been playing with the on-line, P-C computers for a little over 2 years now. There is one thing that I have discovered about them is forever stored that in your computer is all the activity that you have done while using (actually playing) it. Now you can delete your history, but someone that knows what they are doing can bring every bit of that history out,,,,SURPRISE:eek:

Likewise, every place that you have visited also has a history stored in it of everything that you have done there. So,,,,SURPRISE:eek:

If I understand it correctly, all history, once deleted will stay there until it eventually gets written over with new info, (or code). Anyway if you will consider the extreme bit capacity of computers, it is really doubtful that one will reach this condition that it starts having to write new code over old code. This is especially true with personal computers. I don't think that one person could possibly ever fill a computers history to the point that it starts re-writing. So,,,,SURPRISE:eek:

So, remember what you do on a computer, where you go, what you say, ETC. Like I said before, it takes someone with a lot of skill and a lot of time to see what you have done, but it's more than likely all there, on both ends. So,,,,SURPRISE:eek:

Now having said all that, who is someone that would be nosy enough, to have access to all the skill, have all the time necessary, enough money to pay for such an endeavor, just to see what you have done.

HUMMMMMMM lets think for a moment, HUMMMMMMM. Ah yes, the govt, the law, potential employers!!! It's becoming clear now, they are the ones that would do such a thing if they felt like it was necessary. As a matter of fact, now-days when the cops raid a house, the computer is one of the things that they take, or confiscate. So SURPRISE:eek:

There is however ONE way you could delete ALL the info on your computer, forever!!!.......Just throw the dam thing in a fire, that'll do it!!!. I guess the main thing that everyone needs to remember, is that computers are a one way trip. Like "Hotel California", once you are there, you can't never leave. So SURPRISE:bigrin:

To me, if you really want to leave this site, it's simple. On your profile change everything to to XXXX then change any pics to one of whatever???, then change things like your state, town, birthday, whatever else you can change, (if you cannot change something, it will not let you). Then be SURE to hit the "SAVE CHANGES" button!!! Then go to the surfing history on your computer and delete at least the cookies from this website. I am of the opinion that it is a good idea to delete all your history and cookies on a regular basis, something that I do.

And now for the seemingly hard part, to do, to delete yourself  ....QUIT COMING HERE!!!! :banghead:

Your friend, :doggie:

You can also get yourself deleted by merely getting banned or "kicked out the door" by being abusive to the site and others on it. Seen it work before!

The real 'danger' (if one has to keep privacy) is in movements and data on internet connected servers. These are beyond the reach of normal individuals and may have a longer life than one might be comfortable with.

Add to that the concept of cloud computing and relying on one's emails in internet / web based accounts.

Then there are bank card purchases, computerised records in general (drivers licence and passport), and demands for one's social security number.

So should one be surprised that one receives birthday greetings and theme based junk mail related to one's recent activities.

Let's not forget the CCTV footage and number plate recognition, measures of gas, water, electric consumption, waste production in all forms

Makes the UK goverment's claim that we need ID cards at exorbitant charge smell a bit like a dead rat.

If anyone has seen the Terry Gilliam film Brazil where Buttle is persecuted instead of Tuttle then this all looks strangely famliar.
